Business Training Workshops

In an effort to enhance the lending and business counseling services that CEDF already offers, we have added a new training component to maximize the resources available to all small businesses throughout the state.

CEDF now offers small business skills workshops in a small group setting to its existing clients and makes this resource available to all other current small business owners throughout the state. Topics offered include: financials, QuickBooks, taxes, public relations, customer service, marketing, and others as they are identified as important to the small business owner.

CEDF clients have the opportunity to reduce the interest rate on their loan for a total of up to three quarters of a percent (0.75%) by successfully completing three workshops. (A quarter of a percent (0.25%) reduction will be earned for each completed class, up to a maximum of three classes.)

Participants do not need to have previous education or training. These workshops will provide information in basic terms, in a comfortable setting, with a group of small business owners who share similar concerns.

Topics, dates, and locations of future workshops may be found below. Please check back for regular updates.
